SAM Junctional TQ (Standard 2 TCD)

SAM® Junctional Tourniquet (SJT) is a specialized device designed for the rapid control of hemorrhages and bleeding in difficult-to-treat areas such as the inguinal and axilla regions. When standard tourniquets are not suitable, the SJT can be applied in under 25 seconds, effectively stopping bleeding and immobilizing pelvic fractures. The device features the patented SAM® AUTOSTOP buckle, which ensures that all slack is removed before the TCD (Targeted Compression Device) is inflated. Once the optimal compressive force is achieved, two prongs activate, clicking to confirm correct application. The buckle is then securely fastened using a Velcro® system strap, providing reliable and efficient hemorrhage control.
